PENJURU.ID | KOTA SERANG – Eid al-Adha 1441 H celebration is not only meant as a religious ritual for Muslims, however Eid al-Adha can also be interpreted as a means to improve human relations with God and the relationship between humans and others.
As taught by the Prophet Muhammad SAW that the Eid al-Adha is a reminder that humans must have a social concern for the surrounding environment.
Therefore, on the Eid-Al-Adha 1441 Hijri day, the Banten Police Mobile Brigade held qurban slaughter after Eid al-Adha prayer in the Mako Brimobda Banten green field, Friday (7/31/2020).
On the Eid al-Adha 1441 Hijri day, the Banten Brimob only killed a few sacrificial qurban.
“In accordance with the recommendations of the Government in the period of the Adaptation of New customs (IMR) to continue to follow the health protocol, Banten Mobile Brigade only cuts a few qurban animals. For other sacrificial animals symbolically handed over to several boarding schools, schools, and orphanages,” said Dwi Yanto Nugroho.
The Banten Police Chief, Inspector General Drs Fiandar told the media the purpose of this activity was proof of Banten Police’s gratitude to Allah SWT.
“By sharing sacrificial meat to others, we hereby to show our gratitude for being given the excess fortune of being able to share with others,” Fiandar said.
Furthermore, Dwi Yanto Nugroho said, the wisdom of the Eid al-Adha celebration was to strengthen the values and sacrifices of Bhayangkara’s faithfulness.
Meanwhile, Head of Banten Police Public Relations Commissioner Pol Edy Sumardi added, another meaning of Eid al-Adha is teaching every Muslim to make sincere sacrifices for all that has been done.
“When it is associated with the duty as a member of the Police, it is similar to teaching to provide service, protection and protection to the community sincerely by intending to worship God Almighty,” he concluded.
